India seeks to produce fifth-generation fighter at Ozar

India plans to produce the fifth generation fighter aircraft (FGFA) it is co-developing with Russia at the plant in Ozar.

The plant is currently churning out Su-30MKIs and its history dates back to 1964 when it was established to manufacture the MiG-21.

Joint Indian, Israeli test of Barak 8 this month

A joint test of the Barak 8 air defense system by India and Israel will be carried out this month in Israel. If successful, the next firing will be from a Indian warship before September.

The test will be from an Israeli warship, the first Indian warship to fire the missile later will be INS Kolkata.

Russian Air Force MiG-31s have flown non-stop from Zabaikalsky Territory in Siberia to Perm Territory in Russia’s Ural in a six-hour flight that involved three refuelings.
