PLA Marine Corps deployed to Xinjiang for the first time
People’s Liberation Army Navy Marine Corps based in Sanyan, Hainan was transported to Xinjiang in the western part of China this week. This is the first time that Chinese Marines have been deployed to Xinjiang.

USS Georgia hit buoy in Florida
USS Georgia was heading to its home port at Naval Submarine Base Kings Bay last month when it struck a buoy in the channel. The incident was serious enough for the boat to enter dry dock in order to carry out a full engineering assessment of the damage.
