Pakistan releases footage taken from crashed quadcopter, shows Indian Army outpost

Pakistan Army has released images extracted from a Chinese-made Phantom 3 commercial quadcopter and some images show the drone was flown from an Indian Army outpost.

Crash of a VMA-214 Harrier caused by oil leak

A VMA-214 AV-8B crashed into a neighborhood in Imperial, California last year after an oil leak lead to an on board fire.

Although no one was seriously hurt during the accident on Jun. 24, the crash destroyed three homes.
The source of the oil leak came from a crack in an oil drain tank, the cause of the crack was not ascertain.

The latest software allows supply and sustainment crews to get alerts on which parts are exhausting their lifespan and requires changing.
On the hardware side, the units are now packed into rugged cases so that it can be easily carried on and off ships.

TAI hopeful of getting U.S. export approval for T129 attack helicopter

Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) is optimistic that the U.S. government will grant an export license for the LHTEC CTS800 turboshaft engine that powers the T129 attack helicopter.

The engine is made by the Light Helicopter Turbine Engine Company (LHTEC), a joint venture between Rolls-Royce and Honeywell, thus an export license is required from the U.S. government.
TAI can only begin the process of obtaining an export license after a sales contract has been signed for the T129.
