The Indian Ministry of Defense has issued a press release to play down recent media reports that the Su-30MKI beat RAF Eurofighters 12 to 0 during the fourth edition of Exercise Indradhanush.

PC-21 is frontrunner in French Air Force contest

The French Air Force is shopping for a new intermediate trainer aircraft and the PC-21 is said to be the preferred choice, Defense News reports.

However, the service is still expected to open up the competition for 20 to 25 aircraft and the M-345 is expected to compete.

Shortly after Turkey opened out Incirlik Air Base to the U.S. military, six F-16s from the 31st Fighter Wing left Italy on Aug. 9 for Turkey.

India to buy seven squadrons of Akash air defense system

The Indian Ministry of Defense will soon sign off the purchase of seven Akash air defense system for the Indian Air Force.
