Four F-16s from Denmark will fly to Iceland as the next rotation for the NATO air policing mission, replacing Czech Gripens.

A RCAF CP-140 had to abort its take-off run at Nova Scotia but the aircraft subsequently slid off the runway and into grass around 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 27.

All 17 on board were not injure during the accident.

F-35A vs A-4

Six A-4s from Draken International took part in an operational test exercise for the F-35A of the Royal Netherlands Air Force at Edwards Air Force Base from Aug. 17-28.

The A-4s were employed as adversary aircraft, supplemented by six F-16s from the 162nd Fighter Wing, Arizona Air National Guard.
