The Pentagon could task the EA-18G with a new role to hack into enemy computer networks, if so, the U.S. Navy will order more Growlers to meet the new demand, outgoing CNO Admiral Jonathan Greenert said.

The second RAF RC-135W Airseeker arrived at its new home at RAF Mildenhall on Sept. 4. The aircraft was delivered seven months early.

Compared to the first Airseeker, the second jet has “over 60 improvements have been incorporated into the second aeroplane ranging from upgrades to the aircraft’s mission systems to engine improvements providing increased fuel efficiency and durability.”

Indonesia to sign Su-35 contract this month

More information has been released on Indonesia’s decision to buy the Su-35. According to Defense Minister Ryamizard Ryacudu, the contract for the planes will be signed this month.

Ryamizard added that due to funding issues, only eight aircraft will be bought initially.

U.S. to resupply Saudi Arabia with JDAMs, Paveways

The Obama administration has notified Congress informally of its plan to resupply Saudi Arabia’s depleted stocks of JDAM and Paveway precision-guided bombs.

Bloomberg says the State Department made the informal notification last month in order to gauge reactions from key leaders on the proposal.
