Russia expected to launch missile early-warning satellite in November
At the moment, Russia does not have any early-warning satellite in geosynchronous orbit to warn of a missile attack. This is set to change in November when the first EKS satellite is launch into space.

Tu-160 and PAK DA will rely on new astronavigation unit
Radio-Electronic Technologies Concern (KRET) is researching on a new astronavigation unit, designated ANS-2009, for the Tu-160 strategic bomber.

Australia orders two more KC-30As
Australia has placed an order for two more KC-30A aerial refueling tankers, increasing the fleet from five to seven aircraft.

UH-1Y now has an EW pod
HX-21 recently started testing a developmental electronic warfare (EW) pod for the UH-1Y. The first flight took place on Jun. 8 at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.

Unidentified customer places order for RBS 70

HMS Defender in training exercise with Eurofighters from II (AC) Squadron
The Royal Air Force’s II (AC) Squadron deployed to RNAS Culdrose for a week-long exercise near the English Channel with HMS Defender.
