Queen Elizabeth-class carriers will be protected by USVs
BAE Systems, together with ASV, are creating an unmanned surface vessel to be deployed from the Queen Elizabeth-class carriers. The modified rigid inflatable boats will undertake high-risk missions at up to 40km away.

Fire broke out inside E-2C just before Shinzo Abe’s visit to USS Ronald Regan
An electrical fire broke out inside a E-2C assigned to VAW-115 on board USS Ronald Regan Oct. 18 as the carrier was about to host Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe.
