Type 052C DDG and Type 053H1 FFG gave warnings to USS Lassen today
A press statement from China’s Ministry of Defense said Type 052C destroyer Lanzhou (170) and Type 053H1 frigate Taizhou (533) gave warnings to USS Lassen as the American warship sailed within 12 nautical miles of Chinese artificial islands in the Spratly archipelago on Oct. 27.

South Korea to transfer Pohang-class corvette “Gyeongju” to Peru
Peru and South Korea navies signed an agreement on Oct. 24 to transfer RoKS Gyeongju, a Pohang-class Flight II corvette to the Peruvian Navy as B.A.P. Ferré. The ship’s MM-38 Exocet anti-ship missiles are said to be removed before transfer.
