INS Kochi successfully test-fired a BrahMos supersonic anti-ship missile on Nov. 1. This is the first successful test of a weapon system from the indigenous warship after it was commissioned on Sept. 30.

Peru and South Korea navies signed an agreement on Oct. 24 to transfer RoKS Gyeongju, a Pohang-class Flight II corvette to the Peruvian Navy as B.A.P. Ferré. The ship’s MM-38 Exocet anti-ship missiles are said to be removed before transfer.
