Saab to upgrade Norway’s ARTHUR weapon-location radar system

Norway would like to carry out a mid-life upgrade of its Arthur weapon-location radar system and has given Saab a SEK115 million contract to build a prototype.

The upgraded system will transition from the Hägglunds BV-206 tracked vehicle to a M113F4 armored tracked vehicle.

The development and production of this prototype will be done at Saab in Halden, Norway, and Gothenburg, Sweden.
