1-3 reflags as 3-17

The 1st Attack Reconnaissance Battalion, 3rd Aviation Regiment cased its colors at Hunter Army Airfield and the soldiers were re-flagged as 3rd Squadron, 17th Cavalry Regiment on Oct. 7.

The 3-17 was inactivated last month after retiring its OH-58D Kiowa Warrior helicopters.
