McClatchy: Russia fighter may have entered Turkish airspace during bombing run

News outlet McClatchy reported that a Russian fighter jet may have entered Turkish airspace on Oct. 2 while bombing the village of in al Yamdiyyah in Syria.

A Turkish security official said Turkish radar locked onto the Russian aircraft as it approached the Turkish border.
A anonymous U.S. official added that Turkish jets had scrambled but were not able to intercept the Russia jet in time.
