India wants to split 36 Rafales between two bases

Apparently, another sticking point that has lead to protracted negotiations between France and India for 36 Rafale fighters is the latter’s insistence to deploy the jets at two bases.

Such a move will incur more costs for Dassault as it has to support operations at two locations.
