More than 2,000 U.S. Army equipment in Europe – ranging from tanks to generators – are returning to the traditional European pattern paint job.

For many years, these equipment were given the desert tan paint scheme due to operations in the Middle East.
U.S. Army Europe commander Lt. Gen. Ben Hodges said the move symbolizes the service’s renewed focus on the region.
