Russia plans new version of Oka (NATO: SS-23)

Russia says it will revive the OTR-23 Oka (NATO: SS-23) mobile theatre ballistic missile that was scrapped under the INF Treaty.

Deputy Defense Minister Yuri Borisov said the missile will be upgraded to improve its range and accuracy. The old missile had a range of 400km but was nonetheless scrapped.
