Israel second Dolphin 2-class submarine, INS Rahav, has left Germany for home in Israel on Dec. 17. The submarine is the fifth Dolphin-class boat and the second one to be equipped with AIP.

The boat spent 32-months undergoing system integration and seas trials at the Thyssen-Krupp Marine Systems (TKMS) shipyard in Kiel, Germany after it was launched in April 2013.
