A U.S. Marine has been found guilty of killing a transgender woman by a Philippine court. Lance Corporal Joseph Scott Pemberton will have to serve between six to twelve years in jail.
The Olongapo City regional trial court also ordered him to pay the family of Jennifer Laude $95,350.
