To deal with obsolescence issues and bridge the capabilities of existing launchers, Raytheon has introduced the TOW EagleFire launcher.

Raytheon says the TOW EagleFire is simpler to maintain and more reliable, it will be capable of firing both the wire-guided and wireless radio frequency missiles.
Other features include: integrated day-and-night sight with range-finding capability; ergonomic handgrips and extensive Built-in-Test capability.
A nine-hour lithium-ion power source gives the system a prolong silent watch capability.
