The highest ranking military officer of Netherlands, Gen. Tom Middendorp, says Dutch F-16s should be bombing ISIL targets in Syria too.

Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu has ordered an investigation into seven military aircraft crashes that occurred since June.

Indonesia to contribute Mi-17 detachment to U.N. peacekeeping force in Mali

Indonesia has agreed to send a Mi-17 detachment to the United Nations Multidimensional Integrated Stabilization Mission in Mali (MINUSMA).

The contingent will spend at least one year in Mali and the deployment can be extended at the U.N.’s request.

A-10 exports ruled out by U.S. Air Force

The U.S. Air Force has no intention to export the A-10 attack jet. The flying branch said “there are no anticipated sales of A-10 aircraft to anyone.”

Earlier this year, Boeing had pitched the idea of exporting the second-hand aircraft as the fleet still has a fair amount of flying life available.
