South Korea to deploy M-SAM this year

South Korea has completed testing of the Cheongung or M-SAM air defense system and will deploy it by end of the year.

The Defense Acquisition Program Administration says it will start deploying the system to replace the MIM-23 HAWK at the Air Force from September.
