Thailand will deploy LST HTMS Angthong to the Andaman Sea to provide humanitarian assistance to boat refugees coming from Myanmar and Bangladesh.

Welsh: “China and Russia will be fielding capability that is better than what we currently have in many areas”
Chief of staff of the United States Air Force told Fox News that China and Russia will soon field capability that will surpass the U.S. in many areas in a short time.

“China and Russia are two good examples of countries who will be fielding capability in the next three to five years; if they stay on track, that is better than what we currently have in many areas.
Fighter aircraft in the next three to five years that have more capability than what we currently have sitting on the ramp. The F-35 will stay a generation ahead of them. F-22 will, too. Everything else we have will not stay ahead. The gap has closed.”

PLAN, RSN joint naval exercise in South China Sea concludes
The joint naval exercise between People’s Liberation Army Navy (PLAN) and the Republic of Singapore Navy was concluded today at 11:40 SGT today.
World War 2 Veteran recognized as Tuskegee Airman
Former Sgt. John M. Watson fought in the Second World War as a crew chief with the Tuskegee Airman. However, he was not officially recognized as a member of the group until May 20.
