Bangladesh Air Force Mi-17 pilot dies in Singapore, two weeks after crash
The pilot of a Bangladesh Air Force Mi-17 was apparently flown to Singapore for treatment after his helicopter crashed two weeks ago. Unfortunately, he died from injuries sustained during the accident on May 25.

Embraer delivers first modernized A-4 to Brazilian Navy
Embraer delivered the first upgraded A-4 (AF-1) to the Brazilian Navy on May 26 at its plant in Gavião Peixoto.
Press release said Embraer will modernize nine AF-1 single-seaters and three AF-1A two-seaters with new “navigation, weapons, power, tactical communications and sensor systems, plus computers and multimode state-of-the art radar.”

Russia says its “too early” to deliver S-300 to Iran
According to Russian Security Council Deputy Secretary Yevgeny Lukyanov, Moscow feels its still “too early” to deliver the S-300 air defense system to Iran.

Test pilots taught USAFE F-16 pilots on how to avoid departing the aircraft
The F-16 will depart from controlled flight and enter a deep stall during a high angle of attack low-speed maneuver. Test pilots from Edwards AFB recently traveled to Europe to teach USAFE pilots on how to avoid that situation.

Russia gave up on getting Mistral-class ships, will seek compensation
Russia has decided to seek compensation from France after giving up hope of having two Mistral-class helicopter carriers delivered.
