Kuwait to buy 28 Super Hornets

Reuters says Kuwait will soon announce a $3 billion order for 28 Boeing F/A-18E/F Super Hornets.

Singapore C-130 made an emergency landing in India

A Republic of Singapore Air Force C-130 had to make an emergency landing at Kolkata airport on May 5 due to a fuel leak.

The cargo plane was heading back home from Kathmandu when the crew discovered the leak shortly after take-off.
It touched down at 13:25 in Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu.

Australia commissions two CH-47Fs into service

At a ceremony held in Royal Australian Air Force Base Townsville on May 5, Australia commissioned its first two Boeing CH-47F helicopters into service.

The 5th Aviation Regiment, 16th Aviation Brigade will eventually have a total of seven CH-47Fs to replace six CH-47Ds.

Jordan wants a single UH-60M for VIP duties

Jordan has request via the Foreign Military Sale route for a single UH-60M helicopter VIP role.

The DSCA said the helicopter will provide intra-country transportation for the Royal family, Jordanian officials, visiting Heads of State, and other dignitaries.

Malaysia to buy 10 AIM-120C7s

The U.S. State Department has cleared the sale of 10 AIM-120C7 air-to-air missiles for Malaysia.
