Greece to propose building NATO airbase in Aegean Sea

Greek Defense Minister Panos Kammenos said he plans to propose building a NATO airbase in the Aegean Sea when he meet U.S. Secretary of Defense Ashton Carter this week.

Secret Soviet mission in Scotland to fly the Albemarle

The Montrose Air Station’s Heritage Centre has a new exhibit about 24 Soviet pilots who traveled to Scotland to learn fly the Whitworth Armstrong Albemarle transport.

The exhibit opened on May 15 and some descendants of those pilots attended the ceremony.
