U.S. to offer Scorpion to Indian Air Force

According to Jane’s, U.S. defense secretary Ashton Carter is expected to offer the Textron AirLand Scorpion to the Indian Air Force.

Chief of Indian Air Force, Air Chief Marshal Arup Raha, is reportedly interested in evaluating the Scorpion as an intermediate jet trainer to replace the aging Kiran.
