Germany to reactivate 100 mothballed Leopard 2 tanks

One hundred German Leopard 2 tanks that were kept will storage will be brought back into service.

This will costs the German government €22 million (US $23.6 million) as the tanks are currently in the hands of the industry.

This batch of Leopards will be modernized.

Once the exercise is completed, Germany will have 328 Leopard 2 tanks in its inventory.
