Fire on board USS Gunston Hall during maintenance

A fire broke out on board USS Gunston Hall during a maintenance availability in Portsmouth, Virginia. Firemen managed to put out the fire after battling for three-hours.

Finland selects FN SCAR-L for its special forces

The FN SCAR-L assault rifle has been selected for Finland’s special forces. This will be the first 5.56×45 mm NATO calibre firearm for Finish defense forces.

Minnesota National Guard, Norwegian Service members retrace successful World War II mission

Airmen and Soldiers of the Minnesota National Guard participating in the 42nd American – Norwegian Reciprocal Troop Exchange, also known as NOREX, retraced the steps of U.S. and Norwegian special operators 70 years ago who, during the final months of World War II, waged a successful sabotage campaign against German forces occupying Norway.
