Adm. Locklear shortlisted for Joint Chiefs Chairman
Sources told Defense One that the reason behind the delay in letting Adm. Samuel Locklear retire as commander of the U.S. Pacific Command is because he is being considered for the post of the chairman of Joint Chiefs of Staff.
